Distance Running Scholarship

Each year the Cornbelt Running Club provides scholarships to deserving, graduating high school students who have participated, and plan to participate, in track or cross country running. The CBRC Scholarship Application is posted here January through April.

Scholarship Amount: $1,500

Recipients: Three: At least 1 female and 1 male ($1,500 each, $4500 total)

Duration: This is a one year scholarship.

Who: Any graduating senior planning to attend college is welcome to apply.

Intercollegiate Athlete: Preference will be given to individuals planning on competing at the intercollegiate level in cross-country and / or track (400 meters or above.)

The recipient does not necessarily have to be a member of the club. However, an application from a member or the child of a member will receive preferential treatment.

Selection Process: 3 - 5 Finalists will be selected and possibly interviewed.

Due Date: April 15

Transcripts: An official sealed copy of your transcripts must also be submitted.
